extension_white_list() click to toggle source

Add a white list of extensions which are allowed to be uploaded. For images you might use something like this:

def extension_white_list
  %(jpg jpeg gif png)
end

store_dir() click to toggle source

Override the directory where uploaded files will be stored. This is a sensible default for uploaders that are meant to be mounted:

# File app/uploaders/picture_uploader.rb, line 14
def store_dir
  "uploads/#{model.class.to_s.underscore}/#{mounted_as}/#{model.id}"
end
